Tra le novità introdotte con la nuova suite che comprende anche i tools di sviluppo per i programmatori, c'è la tecnologia Havok Behavior, con i supporti per i maggiori programmi di modellazione 3D, HydraCore, che consente di sfruttare i processore multicore distribuendo la fisica e l'animazione, e soprattutto Havok FX, che consente nelle applicazioni 3d che ne faranno uso di trasferire i calcoli della fisica in hardware sfruttando le unità di calcolo delle GPU SM 3.0.
Havok infine afferma che il proimo gioco a sfruttare la nuova piattaforma Havok 4.0 giungerà sul mercato per questo inverno.
